I’m Lu, your favorite Health and Wellness Coach/Educator

Here’s the thing, I became a Community Wellness Consultant for a reason...

Hey, I’m Lu — a public health professional, Army veteran, educator, and founder of Community Wellness Consulting LLC.

Before any of the titles, I was just a girl growing up in under-resourced neighborhoods, navigating both rural and urban communities where access to healthcare, education, and basic support often felt out of reach. That experience shaped my entire approach: community-first, faith-led, and grounded in lived truth.

I served in the United States military and went on to earn my Master’s in Public Health, becoming the first in my family to graduate from college. Over the years, I’ve worked across government, healthcare systems, and nonprofit spaces leading trauma-informed initiatives, wellness campaigns, and youth development programs.

I’ve taught public health courses at the college level, mentored young adults, spoken on healing through behavior change, and helped organizations implement wellness strategies that actually work for the communities they serve.

Today, I continue to lead with intention — helping people, families, and institutions heal from the inside out. I also proudly serve on several nonprofit boards, using my voice to guide strategy, uplift underserved communities, and break generational cycles through education and holistic wellness.

✨ Let’s Work Together

Whether you’re a school, nonprofit, or community group looking for health education, mentorship programming, or wellness support — I’m here to help. I believe in meeting people where they are, and building systems that reflect who they are.

Community Wellness Consulting LLC was built from lived experience, purpose, and a calling to serve.

What started as a passion project has grown into a consulting business rooted in public health, healing, and real behavior change. We work with schools, nonprofits, and community-based organizations to make wellness feel personal, not performative. Our services include youth mental health education, parent workshops, wellness program design, and healing-centered strategy — all with one goal: to help communities thrive, not just survive.

At Community Wellness, we believe wellness isn’t a luxury — it’s a right. And we’re here to make it accessible, culturally relevant, and sustainable for the people who need it most.

Our mission is to strengthen communities by breaking generational cycles through public health education, research backed programs, and accessible wellness tools.
